both sets come with matching earrings.
but one girl doesn't have her ears pierced…i wonder if i could make them into clips.
yes it is safe, its affiliated with yahoo i believe….go under FAQ.
Quailty is great!

I like the first necklace. The second one may take away from the beauty of yours with all the glitz on it. Stick with something simple but elegant. The second is too flashy. You might check with a jewelry shop about making clips out of them. I know it is possible, I've heard it has been done before but I don't know by whom. Maybe someone who designs jewelry. Check the net for someone in your area.

okay, not exactly sure how to word this. how do i make cut-outs from lucite to put on chains as necklaces? THANKS. this is pretty vital.

I actually make good sized mobiles with hearts and stars cut from 1/8" colored plexiglas. I cut them on a milling machine. Send me a drawing or something, I'll give you a bid. Go to my profile and email me…

Do they have to drill holes in them? Say you wanted to make a bracelet like this: http://mirror3.etsy.com/il_430xN.15312103.jpg

how would you?

Those red stones may also be made from polymer clay instead of being "real" stones. There are in fact many stones that can be made quite convincingly from polymer clay. In those cases, the holes could be made while the clay is raw, or after baking it to harden.

(Faux pearls can even be made from polymer clay, but these may well be real or cultured pearls, or just regular fake pearls purchased from a craft store or bead shop, etc…. those often come already with the holes).

If you're interested in seeing some of the fauxs that can be made with polymer clay, click on some of the links on these pages to see photos:

I've decided to wear the simple black Cocktail dress tonight ( the colar goes straight across my bust with no clevage showing . Should I wear Pearl drop earings and a pearl necklace that sits on my neck or the Heart of the Ocean. It's not costume Jewelry and is made by fine Crystal and looks classy , but could it be too much.My neck looks long and my hair is just a above my shoulders, very much like Audrey hepburn ( not looking like her but my stature is like hers) Any ideas?

Pearls would look very classy. When in doubt always choose pearls!

well I want to work with it to make nomex handicraft, like dissipator and other stuff, well you know about its properties as chemical and physical resistence, also the equipement for work with it like driller or something else( I think with jewelry tools should work)

Nomex Aramid Paper is an insulator for motor winding slots.
You can look for it in Electrical Stores that sells magnet wires and other electrical supplies. you can surf www. Nomex paper.com. Alibaba .com supplies Nomex from China.

I finished Christmas shopping today for my kids and thought I did pretty good. Since they love hunting around the house looking for their gifts, my mother-in-law keeps them at her house. I just brought the things I bought this morning over, and she told me “Wow, this is all you’re getting them? Why did you take-in the extra 3 kids if you would have to sacrifice things for your real children?” I thought I did good considering we have 8 children this year instead of 5. So the question:
Is she right? Or is she just trying to make me feel bad?

I tried my best. Each child on average gets about $400 worth of toys. Yes, it would have been more if we didn't take 3 extra children in, but should how much we get on Christmas make a difference bettween leaving them in foster homes or letting them live with us?
Oh and another one was that she is only buying for her "real" grandchildren, meaning she's not getting gifts for the 3 childre I recently adopted. So now I'm going to have to buy them something and bring it over there to pretend it's from her.
Yes, we have to keep everything fair. I tried to sick to 5 items that totaled up to about $400.
We actually adopted them when their mother (my friend) passed away from cancer.

I’m very impressed with the list of what you got for all of the kids. It looks as if you spent a lot of time and thought in selecting what you thought that they would really like and cherish.

As for the Mother-in-Law: I would have your husband discuss the situation with her, and mention to her that it is not fair for her to single out a particular group to give gifts to, or not. The older kids (5 and up) are old enough to realize who is getting gifts, and WHY the others are being excluded. Therefore, my advice (all $.02 of it), is that either EVERYONE has a package to open (with some sort of gift inside, price not important), or NOBODY has a gift.

Don’t pretend, and get something, hauling it over there. Just inform her that you AND HER SON have made the decision to adopt / take in / foster these children, and BOTH of you have decided to love them as your own. But your husband needs to have this conversation with her, and present this as a JOINT decision.

And if she persists, your husband can always inform her that until she can accept ALL of your children, NONE of them will be visiting.

Good Luck.

Some silver has a lot of nickel in it. That is why sometimes the silver turns quickly. (and that is why it is low cost) I was told by a Nordstrom sales rep., that their silver has a low amount of nickel. I would confirm that if you do buy from them. It really depends on if you are looking for something that is going to last a long time. If you want to spend a little more, Tiffany & Co. has some great pieces. They have a web sight too. I have a few friends that wear Tiffany silver and it has lasted for years.
