Please tell me an easier way to put beads on the thread when it comes to making necklaces or bracelets. More experienced people, please share ideas on how I can better by designs. Especially with earrings. Thank you very very much in advance.
It's not thread. I'm using bead stringing wire w/ Austrian crystals & assorted glass beads. Looking for a quicker easier way to thread other than doing it by hand.

I'm quite experienced in this so i'm sure this will help.
use tigers tail wire, its quite a stiff wire so you can pick the beads up with the wire and not your hand.
Or, take a beading needle if you're using cotton:

Thread the needle into the cotton, make the cotton into a loop (your needle will be in the loop). Now use the needle to pick up all the beads.
what kind of materieal do you use for earrings? i use the eye-pins and head-pins mostly, and you can creat very pretty earrings & necklace pendants with thoses pins, you'll find them in any bead shop, just ask for 'beading eye-pins or head-pins.'

NB: if you're threading seed beads, a beading needle will be compulsory, otherwise it might break the glass seed beads.
I'm sure it'll help. Also, go to www.youtube.com and search for 'Karla Kam Beading Videos' She has excellent lessons for all beading stuff!!!

I want to make my own jewelry, like beaded necklaces and bracelets with heavy crosses that have rhinestones and other pendants on them. Where can I find a good jewelry supplier catalog? Or an online supplier? And also, how would I go about pricing the pieces? Google didn't work. If you can help me out that would be awesome!

Recently ive been liking to make jewelry and clothing with old pieces of jewelry and charms, I already make a lot of necklaces with old charms and a one sleeve tank top with an old shirt. I was wondering if anyone has any simple tools or cool ways to turn an old shirt or broken necklace in to a new one..i guess that's the best way to put it :) Any Ideas?

…Would anybody like to help me? People wanted to make jokes about it, so I deleted the question.
My sister-in-law died a couple of months ago and my brother gave my mother all her jewelry. My mother told me to come over and pick out what I wanted, that is if she didn't want it. So I took what she didn't want.
Well, for a month now I have been trying to figure out what this statue is and what it is made out of and what it is used for.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me what it is.
Since I put that question on here and told people to go to Flickr, cause I have it posted on there, I guess no one went there to help me. So, Im asking you if you can email me (I have that option on here) your email so I can send you a picture of it, maybe I can get some help as to what this is.
If I could have some help on this, I would really appreciate it.
I can tell you since it's green, I thought it was Jade, Malachite, or Amazonite, but Im still not quite sure what it is.
If you don't want to give out your email address (which it won't be shown on here anyway if you use the 'email me' option on here and I definitely won't give it out to anyone, that's not my purpose).
If you're worried about it tho, go to Flickr, sign in and look up photos with the tags: green, statue, luck, charm or gemstone. It's in the palm of my hand.

There are 34,824 results for those tag words, you'd probably have a lot better luck if you could post a link with your question. I went through the first 5 pages and didn't find it. Sorry but I hope that help you in the future.

Earrings- http://www.flickr.com/photos/24483090@N02/2319922717/
Let me know if these links work ok. Haven't done the photos before on flickr.
Seree- I started the necklace about a month back. It actually didn't take long all together, I just don't get to work on them for long periods at a time. Maybe an hour here or there. Adding the crystals and linking them is the most time consuming part. The earrings maybe took 15 minutes total. My wedding isn't until August 30th and I started the second necklace last night. I will post the others as I finish them.

The links work. And i think the jewelry is gorgeous!!

I've started getting into making beaded jewelry. I have had some trouble with tieing the elastic string at the ends. Is there any trick? Or is there something I can put over the knot to make it stay tied? Like a glue or something? Any help would be appreciated, I think everyones getting tired of picking up a piece of jewelry and having beads go everywhere!

To "knot" your jewelry get 4 crimp beads. At each end of the necklace, bracelet, ECT. make a loop (not a knot) and put two crimp beads on holding the loop together. Use pliars or some tool like that to scrunch the crimp beads flat. BEFORE you do that though you should put a clasp on one side (place it in the loop) and then put on the srimp beads.

Hope I helped!
