I want to know what is a catchy, but not crazy name. I am making business cards (for when I send my stuff), everything is done, but I realized I don’t have a name. Well, I am making necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. I have no particular style, and my actual name is Raven, So I wanted something to do with my name, but nothing plain like Raven’s Designs, or something like that. Thank You!!!
Black. (Raven is also a black hair color.)
Divine Designs.
Raven of the Rings.
Bijoux.
Good luck with your business!

She spent 10 dollars on the supply and She has to benefit. So should she charge 15-20 dollars or 20-25? The necklaces have earrings( A set). Please help!
Your mom will never be able to see her jewelry for more than what people can get a similar item for elsewhere. It’s called "what the market will bear". She should look for similar jewelry and see what the price is. Otherwise, I would charge $22.95 to start. If it doesn’t sell, then go down to &19.95 etc. Good luck to her!! ; )

I have some shells and buttons that I’d like to make into necklaces, earrings etc. Can anyone tell me where I can find a drill or tool to make small holes in these items. Have looked on internet and in Argos catalogue but no luck. Many thanks.
A dremel will be perfect….its a hand held tool especially for things like jewellery….ive got mine a pendant lead and a stand so i dont actually have to bear the whole weight of it when im doing really intricate work…you can pick one up at b&q, and its got to be dremel…you can pick up much cheaper hand held electrical tools, but in my experience they are a waste of money….good luck x

My hobby is making jewelry, from necklaces to fine gemstone necklaces. I want to know how i can go about if i can start a small LLC.. and where i can get the money. the jewelry are nice, I am a disabled veteran that i make jewelry to relax me and i am already getting requests. I am on social security disability because my illness have my mood erratic and this way I want not just help me open business but also with time hire people with disabilities to help me out. can anyone guide me in the right direction who knows about business? I will appreciate your help a lot. My work is great. I have been doing this for over two years. Making necklaces have help me a lot.
I have a friend that does the same thing and she goes to different locations every week, she usually goes to nursing facilities or asst. living homes. All you have to do is have it ok’d by the administrator. I’m afraid you won’t be able to get a loan to start a business like this unless you can prove that you already have clients, they will think it’s too risky.

im 18, and i was wandering if wearing jewelry makes a girl look more cute and beautiful and attractive? and if so what kind of jewelry? like necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, and does the color of the jewelry make a difference?
Well It Depends , If A Girl Wears A lot Of Make Up As Well As The Jewelry It Makes The Girls Look a bit over the top, But Yes Jewelry does make girls attractive,it gives people a bit more confidence! It Surely Makes Me Feel That Way Anyway!! Just Dont wear to much make up with the outfit, The Colour Doest Usualyy Matter, but try to avoid bright coulours like yellow or orange on the jewelry peice, unless your outfit colour is like the jewlery ! Hope I Helped :))

I want to start making necklaces, but im very confused on how to make them with all the different tools, beads and fastenings. Does anyone know of any books or websites that would help? Or any other advice on how to make jewellery? Thanks.
Any craft shop worth it’s salt, should have "how to" books on sale with the supplies.
As you don’t seem to have a natural experimental artistic bent, then ask in the same craft shop if they are running any classes (as many shops do). You could also try the local library for craft groups [and books], or the local education authority, who may be running evening classes in art and jewellery design. There are also craftworker guilds in many rural areas as well as the Women’s Institutes.
As a last resort, you could stop someone in the street who has "homemade" jewellery and ask where they got it from and if they’d introduce you/teach you?
Most people are very flattered if someone admires their style or dress sense and are usually only too pleased to pass on some knowledge.

im wanting to make earrings, hair clips, necklaces, everything. It needs it be a clay that can hold its self together well. air dry or baking, it doesn’t matter.
There is a ceramic material that is as old as dirt itself, used by the Egyptians to make beads and inlaid pieces that bears their name. It’s called Egyptian Paste. A web search will turn up a recipe or possibly a source to purchase it premixed. If I am not mistaken it fires at low kiln temperatures but will require the use of a bead stand since the material is actually very close to being a glaze material and would ruin kiln shelves if fired on them. It is clay like so should be able to be shaped into forms other than beads. But it isn’t really used for objects that are larger than what you might find as jewelry. Other clays can be used as well. You will just have to work small and if glazed the same precautions against ruining kiln shelves will have to be taken.. And there are of course the various synthetic clay-like materials that are available.,sculpey,etc. Link about Egyptian Paste:
