I need some supplies to make jewelry and other stuff please help just fun stuff..

Thanks so much!!!
Thank you everybody in advance…. Thanks again!!! :)
well i do jewelry too :) i usually buy my materials at michaels. (the craft store) theyre a pretty good price :) especially when theres sales and stuff. you can get earrings hooks and the pins for around $3 i think or maybe its 2. you can get the swarovski crystals for earrings or whatever for i think $2 or $3 as well. pendants are pretty good priced too. i practically get all my jewelry making supplies there - the wires, elastics, hooks, clasps, beads (fairly priced as well - you can buy beads strung on a line for i think regular $2 or $3 but for like $5 for 2 or something. the sales are pretty good), pendants, crystals, gems. at michaels where i live, they have this whole thing where they have so many beads on this spinny rack for sales. michaels have a lot of sales. i dont know if where you live has a michaels - but its a pretty good craft store - especially for jewelry supplies. i go there so often! i love it! you should check out your local michaels. theres a lot of sales too - so you’re saving money. so hope this helps! i cant think of any more stores - michaels is the only one i go to for jewelry supplies and stuff :) good luck and have fun beading! :D message or email if you need more :)

I am making my own jewelry but I do not know what website I can buy the materials from, I know there are plenty of them but I wanna find cheap and good quality supplies.

For the hobbyist, Rio Grande is a great starting place to look at when buying jewelry supplies. http://www.riogrande.com

Samuel…people like you need to stay off this website if you can’t properly use it! We as a Community ask for answers to our questions…not BS links to your websites that have nothing to do with anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a lot of ways to use stamps to make "charms" or small dangles for jewelry. I’m assuming you’re asking about one of them though, the ones that uses some kind of "shrink plastic." If so, check out these links:
http://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+shrink+plastic+stamp

(As another possibility, if you’re interested in using stamps in various ways with polymer clay to make beads, dangles, etc., for jewelry, here’s a page to check out:

I want to drill small holes in metal, plastic, ceramic, etc so that I can add a link to make charms. I need to solder as well. I need info on the supplies/accessories needed (what I need for soldering and drill bits needed) Thank you so much!

For your serious jewelry making needs, you will want a torch for soldering, not an iron. You may want to take a class if you’re unfamiliar with using a torch. I would recommend the Smith acetylene/air torch
( http://www.contenti.com/products/soldering/114-400.html ) as a good soldering torch–it’s simple, you only need one fuel tank (and no oxygen), and it’s relatively inexpensive. You can buy a tank at your local welding supply shop.
For drilling, I would recommend a flexshaft. It’s kind of like a dremel, but about a billion times better. If you’re on a serious budget, you can use a dremel, but a flexshaft is much nicer. ( http://www.contenti.com/products/flexshafts/236-971.html )The link is to a cheapie–the ones made by Foredom are the best, but a cheap one will probably suit your needs. I would get a set of wire gauge drill bits ( http://www.contenti.com/products/drills/200-106.html ). The set the link is for contains sizes that will correspond to the most common wire gauges. If I remember right, the #68 is for 20g, so if you need to drill smaller, you’ll need a couple more bits.

I’ve seen some interesting jewelry for sale on crafter sites (like Etsy etc) that appear to be metal that is pinkish in color, either by the metal’s property itself, or it’s been colored somehow.

I can’t seem to find anything for sale on the jewelry supply sites anywhere.

Anyone seen anything like this? Either already colored or a process by which you can color it yourself?

I’m talking about either chain link for bracelets, or the links and findings.

It’s called rose gold and here are the ones I have found so far. Do you need more links?

Search "jewelry supply catalog" in the search box, and voila! If you’d rather shop locally, get a phone book and look up craft and jewelry stores near you.

I like the selection at Firemountain Gems - see http://www.firemountaingems.com/ but you should shop around to get the best prices for what you need.
