I make jewelry and I’m having a hard time trying to find a place to purchase puffy heart pendants and beads. I’ve been to all the local craft stores in town and they do not sell them there. I need help with this please.

Does anyone know of a site where I can buy gold beads for jewelry making. I only seem to find sterling and gold filled, but I want actual 10kt or 14kt gold beads of all shapes. If you know of a site please direct me. Thanks in advance for any help.

I was thinking of selling art work online such as sketches and paintings. Maybe start bead work making necklaces, bracelets etc. Which do you think would I make more money doing? Is art sold more than jewelry?
I don’t see why you couldn’t do both. Have you looked at Etsy.com? You can sell both on their in your own little shop. I recently opened a shop on there, and it’s a great site for handmade items including artwork.

im new to making glass beaded jewellery and would appreciate any tip or tricks! i have some glass beaded jewellery that i have brought, the necklace is on fishing line and the bracelets are on elastic. i have also seen the tiger tail wire being used….
im a little confused as what to use!
First you need to base your stringing material by the size of the beads. The bigger and heavier the bead, the heavier material you’ll want to use. Also, how are you going to attach your closure? Fishing line you can tie and glue, you will need a crimp for wire.
Here is site with your options:

im taking a beading class at the end of the month and i want to start put my bead collection together but i ddon’t have an "eye" for colors, Please Help! Thanks!
One way is to look at what others have already done and see what you like. The simplest way to do this is to look at printed fabrics, either in clothes or in a fabric store. As you see patterns you like, look more closely to see what colors were used in the print, then pick beads to duplicate those colors (limit yourself to a few colors to start). Clothing fabrics are an especially good source for colors, since you’ll end up making jewelry that goes with current clothing. A related way is to go to a paint department that has lots of paint chips and look for the kind that shows a whole color scheme - a group of colors pre-selected to work well together. Again, pick ones you like, then choose beads to match.
If you want to try choosing your own schemes, using a color wheel is a good approach. This article was written for quilters but much of it works for anyone trying to select colors. It describes all the basic ‘artist’ color schemes clearly and gives examples.

who do you think has the best prices?
For wire and other metals, I shop at www.sfjssantafe.com — a.k.a. Santa Fe Jewelers Supply. Their prices are the best I've found, and their customer service is excellent. On the rare occasion that they have made a mistake, they have fixed it courteously, quickly, and generously. Unless they have a specific bead you want, don't buy them here.
For beads and such, I use www.firemountaingems.com — Yep, Fire Mtn Gems. They have excellent prices and assortment. Don't buy wire there, though. Their prices are so high it looks like they buy it from Santa Fe and re-sell it!
Both these places are wholesalers, but do not require a retail license to purchase there. At Santa Fe, there is a $5.- "small order handling fee" added onto any order under $50.- and at Fire Mtn, they give discounts when you buy more stuff. At either place, going in together with other beaders is a great idea.

Location and Store name would be really helpful, thanks!
By your question I don't think you want "real" jewellery ??
If you visit a hypermarket… Eroski… Carefour… or El Corté Ingles would be a good store. to buy "childrens" beads to make jewllery with.
