i have this jewelry wire im not sure of the element but its magnetic and very thin i was thinking of using it to connect my motor to wheels on a small robot i would hav to attach it to copper and then i need to find someway to close of f the end of the wore making sure it can still move the wheels can you give me a suggestion of how to do this if my wire is a conductor?

How to build a small motor suggested you buy one instead.
In the robot materials question you appear to have made a working simple motor. It cannot possibly have enough “go” for a robot.
Now this one! It is very unclear what you are trying to do with your jewellery wire. If you are trying to use it to connect your “motor” to drive wheels, what has being a conductor got to do with it?

I am wondering specifically about magnetic jewelry. I know they are harmful if swallowed, but this is a necklace and made very well and will not break and is too big to be swallowed, so is it ok?
Much research has been done with magnets. There’s a lot of false ideas about them. Most of the ideas are harmless.
The strength of the magnets probably isn’t enough to worry about. So the rest is physical dangers.
Powerful magnets can cause problems. Human bodies don’t really respond to magnetic fields, but if the field is strong enough who knows. There is evidence of energy from cell phones affecting humans. That’s a weak form of energy. If in doubt, then why take a chance.
I honestly doubt it will hurt. I cannot say so absolutely, but I believe it to be true.

well for the nacklace quartz is super common and a super cheap stone tigers eye is a common stone too and cheap as well, but the hematite is common too but it is worth a bit more than quartz and tigers eye.
I would say it would be worth around about 17 dollars!

I am entering a craft show @ Greeley w/ my step mom. She sells scrarves and shawls she made and my sister, friend and I were going to sell bracelets and necklaces w/ her. I was wondering what would be a good price to charge for the jewelry. Most of them have swavorski crystals or pearls and clasps. Some also have magnetic beads. They all are pretty nice looking except for a few we are making for 50 cents to $1.
What would be good prices for necklaces and braclets?

my friend and i are dressing up as Bill and Tom Kaulitz for Halloween this year. I’m looking for a shirt that Bill might wear. I’m looking more at Hot Topic for the shirts because they seem to be more of his style, y’know? Well, i would like some suggestions on tops that he might wear. Please do not say rude things about Bill/Tom/Tokio Hotel, i’m just wanting to find a shirt. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to get my nails, hair, and makeup more like his, please add that too! I want to be as close as possible to the real thing (other than the fact that he’s 6′ 2″ and i’m 5′ 1″ LOL). Which may mean buying a girl shirt (since his are so form-fitting) which shouldn’t be a problem because I am one (ha ha). oh, and while i’m at it, how would you recommend hiding my… stuff (girls know what i mean). I was thinking of ace-bandaging myself, but if there was any easier way, i’d be up for it… because i’m kind of full in that department. haha. I was thinking of wearing dark skinny jeans but I would also like to know what shoes to wear. i have vans, and black converses (i have more, but these seem more like Bill). And JEWELRY! Yes, where can i find clip on/magnetic eyebrow rings (or soemthing that would work like it) and clip on/magnetic tounge ring (if they make them)? and lastly, should i or should i not wear earrings (i have them pierced once on each ear)? So, basically, what would the best way to go about this be?

Ha! My friend and I are doing the same thing =) I am going as Billi and she’s going as Tomi. I was planning on wearing my sweatshirt that has his tattoo on the front and his name on the hood (I am not sure if you have it, but If you do, you should wear it.) I’m going to wear some jeans that are loose fitting, but not too loose. I have the same eye make-up as him, so I was planning to wear that (Its black CoverGirl eyeshadow). I also have a pair of black converse, and I’m going to wear those. I have ALOT of jewlrey from Hot Topic to wear, so you should look there for jewlrey and a cool choker necklace!! And don’t worry about your “stuff” lol, you don’t have to be that exact. I have extremley dark brown hair, and no layers. I am going to try to style my hair like how Bill’s was at teh Comet awards in 2007. They make magnetic tongue rings, and magnetic eyebrow rings, i am going to look at the halloween store for those.
