Jewelry Making

I am entering a craft show @ Greeley w/ my step mom. She sells scrarves and shawls she made and my sister, friend and I were going to sell bracelets and necklaces w/ her. I was wondering what would be a good price to charge for the jewelry. Most of them have swavorski crystals or pearls and clasps. Some also have magnetic beads. They all are pretty nice looking except for a few we are making for 50 cents to $1.
What would be good prices for necklaces and braclets?

I think it depends on how much you want to go home with. I would say around $5 for your first time. See if it sells.

my friend and i are dressing up as Bill and Tom Kaulitz for Halloween this year. I’m looking for a shirt that Bill might wear. I’m looking more at Hot Topic for the shirts because they seem to be more of his style, y’know? Well, i would like some suggestions on tops that he might wear. Please do not say rude things about Bill/Tom/Tokio Hotel, i’m just wanting to find a shirt. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to get my nails, hair, and makeup more like his, please add that too! I want to be as close as possible to the real thing (other than the fact that he’s 6′ 2″ and i’m 5′ 1″ LOL). Which may mean buying a girl shirt (since his are so form-fitting) which shouldn’t be a problem because I am one (ha ha). oh, and while i’m at it, how would you recommend hiding my… stuff (girls know what i mean). I was thinking of ace-bandaging myself, but if there was any easier way, i’d be up for it… because i’m kind of full in that department. haha. I was thinking of wearing dark skinny jeans but I would also like to know what shoes to wear. i have vans, and black converses (i have more, but these seem more like Bill). And JEWELRY! Yes, where can i find clip on/magnetic eyebrow rings (or soemthing that would work like it) and clip on/magnetic tounge ring (if they make them)? and lastly, should i or should i not wear earrings (i have them pierced once on each ear)? So, basically, what would the best way to go about this be?

I have dark brown hair that is about three or four inches down my back in layers. and i AM dying my hair black with platinum clip ins.

Ha! My friend and I are doing the same thing =) I am going as Billi and she’s going as Tomi. I was planning on wearing my sweatshirt that has his tattoo on the front and his name on the hood (I am not sure if you have it, but If you do, you should wear it.) I’m going to wear some jeans that are loose fitting, but not too loose. I have the same eye make-up as him, so I was planning to wear that (Its black CoverGirl eyeshadow). I also have a pair of black converse, and I’m going to wear those. I have ALOT of jewlrey from Hot Topic to wear, so you should look there for jewlrey and a cool choker necklace!! And don’t worry about your “stuff” lol, you don’t have to be that exact. I have extremley dark brown hair, and no layers. I am going to try to style my hair like how Bill’s was at teh Comet awards in 2007. They make magnetic tongue rings, and magnetic eyebrow rings, i am going to look at the halloween store for those.

I want to get some fake gauges,a fake tongue ring like a magnetic on like it has a ball on the bottom and top just to make them look as real as possible, and i also want a fake naval ring but i want them to look really really real.

I actually have a few questions…
First, is there magnetic piercing jewelry? Well, I’m sure there is, or it can at least be made, but is it okay to have magnetic jewelry?
And if someone did have magnetic jewelry, and someone else had magnetic finger implants, would they push away if they got close, or go together?
My main question though, is what do you think will happen to magnetic implants in the future (like 5-10yrs.)?
Do you think they will have found a safe material to use as a sheath since the magnets themselves are toxic?
Will they be more of a body mod that you can do if you want, or do you think they will still be something to do just to experiment, like Shannon Larratt did?

This reminds me of that episode of Grey's Anatomy where the kid eats magnets and they start moving towards each other inside him.

Can these be that dangerous? I guess since they are small and just on the surface skin, they could at some point become popular. I think they would be a lot more popular (as a body mod) if the sensation was higher, but from the sound of that article they don't work that strong. Maybe in the future they will. That would be insane to get them in your genitals like it said! Like to be magnetically drawn as well as hormonally. That sounds pretty steamy.

And I'm not sure if they will have found a safety sheath. I mean magnets have so many purposes you would think they would have found such a thing already if it existed. Are there any other purposes for finding a sheath for magnets? Scientists won't waste their time researching to do magnet implants, but if it has some medical implication they might find something, and people who want the implants will subsequently reap the benefits as well.

I'm not sure on the magnet peircing jewelery. But whether they would push apart or go together would depend what poles the person had (there are two magnetic poles: north/south). Opposite poles attract and same push away.

I could see my husband and I do something like the hand thing if it was a stronger magnetic attraction, but it looks like it hurts like a bitch!

I make hand-made jewelry. No diamond and gemstone stuff but mostly glass, metal, magnetic, and plastic beads. I make earrings as well with the same medium. Hi, for me steel body is nice but little heavy from titanium. The price is low than the titanium body jewelry. I also wearing magnetic bracelets for men, its good for health in helping minor pain area. But titanium is almost harder than steel made jewelry.

The premise of “Search” centered on Probe, a division of World Securities Corporation. Individuals, companies, governments would hire the Probe Division to “search and recover that which was missing.”

Probe’s agents were equiped with miniturized television scanners, which transmitted picture, sound, medical telemetry and anything else the script writers could think of back to Probe Control, where computer specialists monitored the agent’s progress, and analyzed the information the scanner was transmitting. The scanners were small and round and had a magnetic back so they could attach to a ring, tie-tack, locket, or anything with a metal surface such that the scanner could appear to be an exotic piece of jewelry. The agents also had a small audio receiver implanted behind the left ear, so they could hear sound transmitted from Probe Control. The Control personnel would link up to any data base, government or private, to retrieve information that would help the agent work the case. The agents also had a dental implant they could use to send beep tones back to control (once for yes, twice for no or continuous for emergency) if the scanner were unavailable or if there were people present…as the agents did not reveal how they were wired for picture and sound if they could help it.

Search had three rotating stars. Hugh O’Brian played agent Hugh Lockwood, whose designation was Probe One. He handled all types of cases that were not specifically crime/mob related. Tony Franciosa played agent Nick Bianco, designation Omega Probe. The Omega division specialized in criminal/organized crime cases. Doug McClure played agent C.R. Grover, designated Standby Probe. He was called in if a last minute case or emergency required an agent to step in at a moment’s notice. The C.R. stood for “Christopher Robin.” Other than the three star agents, there were other agents at Probe. Back at Control supervising the missions was V.C.R Cameron, played by Burgess Meredith. Cameron supervised the room full of computer/telemetry specialists, making sure the agents had whatever they needed to solve the case, keep them from getting injured, and keep them from breaking too many of Probe Division’s regulations.

The pilot for the series was entitled “Probe.” Creator and producer Leslie Stevens was reportedly removed from the show when NBC found out he was developing another project for a competing network. The last eight episodes had a different producer, different Control set, somewhat different supporting cast and a different focus, with less reliance on Probe Control and a more dramatic bent. After its single season network run, “Search” was never seen again in the United States, as Warner specified the show was “for export only.” Future “Charlie’s Angels” stars Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd each had small roles on the series, although they did not interact with each other.
