Book report on Go Ask Alice?

I have a book report coming up and the instructions say that I need to bring in an item to represent the protagonist(Alice) the antagonist(drugs) and 5 other items to show to help explain the plot. This is a school project which makes the items hard to find because of the subject matter. The items I have thought of are a diary, an empty pill bottle, and jewelry (because she worked at a jewelry store). Any ideas would be so incredibly helpful. Thank you!

She mentions the curlers and her mom a lot. You can also find something to symbolize her life on the street. Find something to symbolize that scene at the babysitting job.

diary, empty pill bottle, jewelry, uh a hair straightner mayber ? her parents would always get mad when she flattened her hair because they said she looked too much like a hippie. and a bottle of soda because thats the first time she ever experienced drugs in the game “Button Button Who’s got the Button”
