Jewelry Making

Hi all! I recently received a grab bag of stuff from Fire Mountain. Included were several chains of "gems" already set into metal. Basically they would be a necklace (kind of like a tennis necklace, but the "gems" are further apart), but there is no clasp, and no way I can tell to add one. They just end with another little gem in a setting. They are really pretty, but I have no idea what to do with them. Has anybody else used these before?

As a jeweler of 33+ years I’m sure I’ve seen what you’re referring to, but your description is lacking.
If you’ll post a picture maybe we can better answer your question?
