i would like to be able to buy some beads and findings for my daughter, anyone know where you can get them from in birmingham or solihull city centres.

Thank you x

Hi, I’m at university and I’m doing some jewellery making. I found this shop in the jewellery quarter that has some good stuff http://www.jewelsandtools.co.uk/ You can order online and pick up in the shop if you don’t want to pay for delivery (they used to have a discount for online purchases, I don’t know if they still do - you’ll have to double check)

I would lay money there’s a stall in the Rag Market selling that sort of stuff.

I’m in Brum and I still buy online. It is cheaper and they deliver. Ebay is the best place where you can get a pack of 200 findings for like £5 and handfuls of beads. I’ve found all the markets etc are far too expensive and only go there if I want a specific thing.

I don’t know about the UK, but there is a great Canadian site by a company called Stones and Findings that has some really great products. They sell a huge assortment of sterling silver, stones and fresh water pearls. Even better, they are having a warehouse sale starting this Saturday afternoon!

    Happy Beading!
