2010 Mar 19 2You’re not saying how you’re using the "pictures" with the resin, nor the type of resin you’re using, etc., so it’s hard to be specific.
However, I don’t understand how the images could be too tiny to use in resin in general (you could cut them out with scissors, or an Xacto blade, etc., or a shape punch or shape cutter, for example).
Most any paper put into resin will become transparent automatically if it’s not sealed, but that transparency includes the image itself and any text/etc that might then become visible from the front. If the paper is sealed first (including the cut edges) or the image has been printed onto photo paper, etc, it should not become transparent (anywhere).
As for where to buy paper for use in resin, Michaels should have ordinary papers of various colors, etc., but if you want the image to come from your computer (e.g., a printer) or a photocopier, etc., you’ll just be using plain paper or a special clay-coated "photo"-type paper which they may or may not have.
I suggest that you check out some of the lessons and info on this page at my site about putting various kinds of "embedments" (including paper images) into molds or cells with resin, to get more acquainted with using resin in general:
